True to the beginning of all new things, the feelings of apprehension, nervousness, excitement and the unknown have been alive at The Cyclist's Menu headquarters in Longmont, Colorado. In the heart of the Boulder Valley, our backyard is filled with miles and miles of beautiful road, mixed terrain and mountain riding; our space to clear our heads, confirm our desire to succeed and brainstorm the future of the cycling and multi sport destination training industry. We love what we do so much that cycling, food and culture is what defines the essence of our brand, our mission to celebrate a healthy lifestyle with guests from around the globe. CHEF Z & Coach HR on 1 of many classic Boulder "lunch loops" with the usual 2,700 feet of climbing, and back to the office in 1 hour! January 23rd, 2016 marked a historical moment in history for us, as we held our inaugural road cycling camp in Tucson, Arizona. For the past 4 years, we have worked professionally as coaches, guides and chef's during the winter months in Tucson. We have come to love the landscape, the local community, its residents and endless cycling and seasonal foods opportunities. On that January 23rd date, our incredible group of 10 came together to experience the best of the desert southwest, Heidi's infectious coaching style and Chef Z's dedication to healthy foods, local agriculture and bold flavor! Our setting was nestled amongst Saguaro Cactus and the Tucson Mountains. Unobstructed views of Kit Peak to the West and Madera Canyon to the South, we rode 350 miles, we sat down together, shared stories of each day over the smells of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tucson, Arizona will be 1 of our go to winter training destinations for years to come. As each day begins, the pages of 2016 are revealed. We have a lot to look forward to and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you all. Our community in Colorado is incredible, we wouldn't be where we are with out it. As we push on and set our goals for the future, we can't help but think of the seasons ahead! With dates scheduled in Colorado, Minnesota, California, Arizona and Belgium, this wonderful new concept of mixed terrain riding is becoming our strong focus. Providing the opportunity for our clients to experience a cycling adventure like never before, sending them home with a new outlook on riding and exploration. Working closely with the agriculture
industry in all of our featured destinations, our menu's are chock full of the freshest ingredients available. Heritage bakers in Tucson, Arizona, small scale ranchers in Berthoud, Colorado and heirloom vegetable farmers in Petaluma, California. Our culture is felt immediately and built upon during your 5 or 7 days with us. Welcome to The Cyclist's Menu family, we look forward to a meal and some miles with you soon. Your's truly, Heidi Rentz & Zander Ault
