The fact that we have met Jake Schuppe, Founder of Adventure Seekers LLC is by no means something that happened by mistake. While attending the 2016 Epic Rides event, 24 Hours of Old Pueblo, Jake parked right next to the Boulder, CO based brand and hydration wizards known as, Skratch Labs! For whatever reason, near the end of this massive weekend of mountain biking, cheering, support crews, late night race laps and delicious rice bowls; Skratch Labs mentioned to Jake he should connect with The Cyclist's Menu. Thank you, Skratch Crew, because we could't be more excited to look forward to a bright future, working with Adventure Seekers LLC on some crazy, awesome cycling camp ideas! Following a lengthy career working for Shimano, Carmichael Training Systems and a few bike shops in between, Jake developed a mechanical theory behind designing incredibly tough trailers. I don't mean any kind of trailer... I mean a trailer that 7 people can live out of, cook inside a professional kitchen, store more bikes than actually needed (even for Moab), and have a completely off the grid experience with high quality amenities, all the time. Jake says, "We can run our diesel generator for 5 days without refueling!!" Jake's level of excitement in bringing this concept to the recreational, event and endurance sports scene is through the roof. Looking for the next best housing opportunity at the Leadville 100, Breck Epic, Dirty Kanza 200 or Sea Otter Classic?? Search no more! Equipped with a line up of the best logistical staff in the business, on site private chef and professional bike maintenance team, Adventure Seekers LLC is bringing the best to you, anywhere you want to be!! Literally, anywhere! That gets me back to the first paragraph and Jake Schuppe and his crew rolling into 24 Hours of Old Pueblo. This event is off the grid, dirt roads, ATV status at best. Jake arrives and staff on hand quickly assess his trailer, thinking there would be no way he would back the thing into place. With many years under his belt, having grown up in the mid west driving tractors since the age of 9, Jake has that baby locked in and ready for action in under 20 minutes. Game time, Adventure Seekers are ready to roll! Currently living in Breckenridge, CO and splitting his time between Breck Bike Guides and putting the final touches on the trailer he calls, "Yukon," Jake is a busy man. Expect to see him at many events this summer across the Rocky Mountain Region. We welcome Adventure Seekers LLC into our family through this main vain of "Community Soup." Our place to highlight incredible people, doing incredible things! The Adventure Seekers crew is in Arizona this week, gearing up for the Beti Bike Bash at McDowell Mountain Park, just outside Phoenix. Best of luck down there guys and gals!!! Sincerely, Chef Z and Coach HR Meet "Yukon". Built out with 7 beds, a full kitchen, living room, and a bike storage/mechanic room! Meet "Lucy"! She'll take excellent care of our bikes... Everyone, meet Jake Schuppe! One of the most down to earth people on this planet. We can't wait to work with you this season!!
