Sonoma Mixed Terrain

"One of Sonoma County's unique qualities is its 1,400 miles of (relatively) well paved, low-traffic county roads that skirt coastlines, scale mountains, dance upon ridgelines, and slice through lush vineyard valleys and productive farmlands. There's a reason why Bicycling Magazine named it one of the top 10 cycling destinations in the world, and why teams like Coors Light, Motorola, 7-11, BMC Racing, Astana, and Team Radioshack have used the bucolic country roads that meander between the North Coast Range and the Pacific Ocean for early season training for the past 30 years. Having spent the past two decades training/racing on these roads, I'm excited to share iconic climbs like Coleman Valley, which was featured in the first three editions of the Tour of California, and hidden dirt gems like Willow Creek with campers to give then a taste of the very unique cycling experience that can be had in Sonoma County."
